Teaching Vagabond is an Alaskan transplant who is originally from Florida. She currently teaches in a Yup’ik community located along the Kuskokwim River. Teaching, traveling, reading, and writing are the things she loves most in this world. Well, people, she obviously loves people. “Inspired” by a requirement of her Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellowship, she has decided to take up blogging again. She plans for this to serve as a venue to express many thoughts about her adventures as a teacher and learner in this beautiful thing called life.
